We, in the northeast, are experiencing what we fondly (cough) refer to as a "nor'easter"...joy & rapture! :) Actually, it works well for me, as I'm trying to finish up some stamping projects before D-Day tomorrow.
As many of you know, I am scheduled for a hysterectomy tomorrow...9:30am to be exact. :) The fun has really just begun, as in just 10 minutes I will begin a lovely "clean out" regimen of a glass of Miralax every 15 minutes for the next four hours....oh yes, joy & rapture again!
I really am quite happy to put my "female" problems behind me once & for all. :) The best part is that it has forced me to be ready for the holidays in record time. I have done all of my shopping, gift wrapping, holiday parties are behind me, swap cards are in progress & ready for some low-key coloring while I'm recovering, Christmas cards are made, addressed & ready for the mailbox on Monday morning, neighbor gifts are done....goodness, what is left for me to do but just relax and watch sappy movies in my jammies while eating bon-bons! How exciting that I finally can say I DID THAT!!!!!!!
Oh, I should probably mention what is in the photo at the left, huh?! This was my gift exchange for my downline Christmas party. I used the pretty dsp from the Holiday Mini Catalog to cover a couple of small boxes, added some Pretties, ribbon & a fabulous bow made from the tutorial on SplitCoast...and voila! I was really pleased with how it turned out. :) Inside the boxes were some hand-made ornaments to match. There are some similar ones on the little Christmas tree which we had up for the party.
Here is a photo of the tree:
It's hard to see them in the photo; but I made some star ornaments, those fabulous scallop punch ornaments, and wrapped some Taffeta ribbon around the tree. I also did a Tag Punch Star ornament for the top. Check back to this site tomorrow morning for the tutorial on how to make that ornament!
I have to say a great big THANK YOU to my lovely downline member, Lynn Larson, who explained to me how to prepare multiple posts on one day that will post on a later date that I choose. So, thanks to her, I have several posts ready to go while I am recovering from surgery. I hope you will all enjoy them! Be sure to check out Lynn's awesome blog here:

Enjoy! If I do not have a chance to say it before then....
Have a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone!!! Remember the Reason for the Season!
God Bless~
