Only time for a quick post today....
I decided to do another of Kristina Werner's color challenges.
Here's this week's challenge:
Pretty easy, huh?! Yeah...except that I can't read, and my card has a lot of the "other" color, rather than a "small quantity" like it says!
Oh well, at least I did it, right?! :)
Here's my card:
The picture REALLY stinks because I had to take it at night. I added Dazzling Diamonds glitter to the flowers, and they're really quite sparkly in person...but you just can't see the sparkle in the photo.
Here's the recipe:
Stamps: Pocket Silhouettes
Inks: Basic Gray, Baja Breeze, Basic Black
Papers: Whisper White, Basic Black, Baja Breeze, Basic Gray, Muirfield Designer Paper
Accessories: Gray Taffeta Ribbon, Black Brads, Scallop Edge Punch, 1/16" Circle Punch, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, 2-Way Glue Pen, Dimensionals
It looks like we're in for a lovely Thursday! Good thing, too...cuz
today's "date day" for hubby and me. We're off to Maine to see My Fair Lady at the Ogunquit Playhouse, a lovely walk on Marginal Way, and some yummy lobster and steamers at Barnacle Billy's. Then we'll have to have a luscious dessert at Bread & Roses bakery to complete our fabulous day without the kiddos! We're SO excited!!! :)
Our 11-year old is spending his day fishing with his aunt. He is just bursting at the seams to go! Our 17-year old has the privilege of watching his sister for the day. Hey, he needs money for his dates...and, frankly, she'll be playing with her little neighbor friend all day; so he'll have a pretty easy job!
Hope you all have a fabulous day!
I know we will! :)
Thanks for stopping in!
Love,
~C
