Hello Stampers~
Ahhh...the weekend! I am away at a church women's retreat this weekend, enjoying temps in the 70's, wonderful fellowship, spiritual growth, and lots of laughter! What could be better than that?! :)
Today's sample was made for Susan Liles, whose hubby was recently diagnosed with lymphoma. You can read all about it HERE.
I used the My Garden set from JustRite Stamps. I embossed the flowers in my favorite Egyptian Gold embossing powder, and colored them in with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol. The way I colored the flowers reminds me of candy corn...too funny! Aren't those Devonshire patterned papers deLISH?! I made the "praying for you" sentiment with the Times New Roman Font Set from JustRite.
The sketch is this week's Sketch Challenge over on SCS.
Here's a close-up view:
I hope you enjoy your weekend IMMENSELY, friends! I know that I will!
Hugs,
~Cindy
