Hello Stampers~
I am back from a FABULOUS week at CHA. Stop by the Flourishes blog for a preview of some of the yummy goodies Flourishes will be getting for the store. :-)
This month's pre-release challenge is to make a sample using black and white plus one other color. Couldn't be easier, right?! Check out all the details over on the Flourishes blog.
I used the gorgeous Zinnias stamp set for my card, coloring the flowers using the following Copic Marker Collections:
I know, I know...technically I used TWO colors besides the black and white; but I decided the leaves don't count. LOL
The patterned papers are from My Mind's Eye's Lost & Found Sunshine pack. I embossed them with a Sizzex Textured Impressions Folder, and sanded the raised areas a bit with a sanding block. The image was cut out using my Spellbinders Grand Calibur Die-Cutting Machine and the Spellbinders Petite Ovals Nestabilities. I framed the papers in rich Black Braided Trim, and added a sweet black satin bow with a White Pearl Vintage Brad that I colored using my C9 Copic marker. I added a pretty pearl stick pin and some black pearls in the corners of my card as well.
The card size is 5-1/4" square. Shocker, eh? ;-)
