This week I made a new discovery...Mo's Digital Pencil. Are you familiar with Mo Manning's work? Well, you might be and not even realize it, because Mo has designed stamps for both Stamping Bella and Penny Black...seriously cute stuff! I am particularly in love with the images of children. every. single. one. I was thrilled to see that they are offered as digital stamps, meaning I could have them in my hot little hands in just minutes! So, you know I snapped a bunch of them right up. ;-)
The image I used on today's card is called Fixer Boy. Mo has the same image in Girl form as well. In fact, many of the images come in both boy and girl versions, as well as several different ethnicities. Cool, huh?
I colored the image with the following Copic markers: BG0000 (background), E50, E51, E53, E57 (hair, freckles, ground, hammer handle, dirt on clothes), B91, B93, B95, B97 (over-alls), G03, G07 (sneakers), R24, R27, R29 (hat, tool handle, pencil erasers), YR21, YR24 (pencils, tool handle), E000, E00, E11 (skin), E23, E25, E27, E29 (tool belt), N0, N2, N4 (tools, shading on t-shirt)
The sketch is the March Sketch For You To Try from i{heart}2stamp. I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder on the Co'ordinations dark blue card stock, and then sanded the raised areas to let the white show through a bit. I swiped a white pigment pad and a Sahara Sand pad on the top half of the Sahara Sand card stock base to give it a wood grain effect. The blue stitched ribbon is from PTI, as is the red button. That little strip of patterned paper is from the On the Bright Side One paper pack from My Mind's Eye.
My card also happily fits into today's Ways To Use It Challenge over on SCS (WT356).
That's all from me today, folks! Thanks so much for stopping by!
