Hey everyone~
I am just BURSTING at the seams to share my exciting news with you all! First, I had better tell you about my card, or I will forget altogether.
I used Flourishes beautiful Pears stamp set for my main focal image, and colored it in with the following Copic marker collections:
I know that seems like a lot of markers; but I really only used one or two from each collection. :-)
I also added some color to the pearls, and Vintage Brads with my R14 Copic marker. The pretty patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Rosy Collection. I finished the card off with some wide Moss Olive Silk Ribbon and a bit of pleated ivory ribbon, as well as a decorative border made with a Martha Stewart border punch and a couple of those pretty green leaf stick pins. The card size is 5-1/4" square.
Now, about that news...
As you all are well-aware, I am a DIE-HARD Copic marker fan, and use them on just about every one of my creations. Well, it is with a large dose of gratitude and humility that I tell you that I've been asked to join the Copic Design Team. I just cannot even tell you how incredibly excited I am! I've been walking around on cloud 9 from the moment I spoke with Marianne! If this is a dream, I do NOT want to wake up! LOL
Marianne has also asked the fabulous Michele Boyer to join the team along side me. Yay, Michele! We are both just thrilled and honored to be working along-side such a talented group of ladies!
