Today the Flourishes design team is sharing some Irish Blessings with you. This 16 piece stamp set, illustrated by the fabulous Marcella Hawley, can be used to make cards for St. Patrick's Day or any other occasion involving a little luck. ;-)
My card is 3-1/4" x 6" with a pretty punched Martha Stewart border that I lined on the inside with a bit of Flourishes Classic Ivory card stock. The patterned paper is from Prima's Alla-Prima paper pad. The pretty green ribbon is Avocado Cotton Linen with a sweet Frosted Clear Vintage Brad in the center of the bow. I colored the brad, as well as all of the pearls, with my Y35 Copic marker. I added a pierced border along the top of the card, and completed the look with some faux-stitching using an Opaque White Pen.
The image itself was stamped on Flourishes Classic Ivory card stock, using Memento's Tuxedo Black ink. I then cut the image out using Spellbinders Petite Oval Nestabilities. The Copic Air Brush System was used to give the background of the oval a bit of an antique look with the E42 Copic marker. The image was colored in using the following Copic Marker Collections:
