We have a super-fun and super-EASY challenge for you today, friends! Simply use lace anywhere on your project. That's it...easy-peasy, right?!
Here's mine:
I love the richness that Bo Bunny's Serenity papers add to this card! I began with kraft card stock as my base, and layered on some black, and the patterned papers. I stamped the mother and child image on kraft, and embossed it using white embossing powder and a VersaMark ink pad. I also embossed the floral frame image the same way. I then sponged around the main image with Tim Holtz Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. I sponged some distress ink onto the sentiment piece too, only this time it was my old favorite, Antique Linen. I then used that same pad to sponge the edges of several of the card stock layers. I did not care for the stark white of the embossed sections; so I colored them in using my E31 Copic Marker...really added to the vintage feel, don't you think?! To dress up the card a bit more, I added a sweet lace doily behind the Spellbinders Circle die-cuts, and two layers of lace ribbons along the bottom of the card: Ivory Scalloped Lace Trim & Black Laural Venise Trim. I am just loving all of the gorgeous laces Flourishes is now carrying! The final touch on my card is a Vintage Blue Marble Brad. The card size is 5-1/4" square.
So...wanna get in on a chance to win this month's ENTIRE release?! Here's how: To play in the Lovely in Lace Challenge, all you need to do is use lace anywhere on your project.
