I have a quick little post for you today. This was the m&t project I did at a recent trade show event. We were to make a project that took 5-10 minutes to complete. I had all of the embossing done and ovals cut out already to help speed things along. ;-) The cute little girl image is from the My Umbrella stamp set, which is one of My Favorite Thing's Pure Innocence sets. Isn't she sweet? The sentiment is from Flourishes April Showers set. I thought they worked quite well together.
I embossed the background with the Polka Dot Cuttlebug Embossing Folder, and sponged the edges with ink in the same color as the cardstock. I then cut out an oval with Spellbinders Classic Oval Nestabilities. The image was colored in using the following Copic markers: E000, E00, E02 (skin) ~ E50, E53, E55 (hair) ~ Y02, Y15 (raincoat) ~ B02, B57 (boots, umbrella) ~ YG00, YG03 (umbrella, sentiment) ~ E37 (umbrella handle) ~ BG0000 (sky) ~ W0 (ground)
The card size is 4-1/4" square. All white cardstock is the awesome XPress It Blending Card from Copic...love that stuff!
