I was so happy to see Saturated Canary back up and running on her new site! She was selling her digi stamps on etsy, and now she has her very own store front...yay!
For my card today, I chose the Books and Bedheads image. This is SO my daughter! She can often be found curled up with a good book on her bed...a girl after her momma's heart. I found the perfect sentiment for my card over on MFT. It's from their new Cute-a-tude set, which is just that...cah-UTE!
The white card stock Flourishes' Classic White. I added a pretty layer of textured Bermuda Bay from SU, and the patterned paper is from Echo Park's Country Drive 6x6 pad.
I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored it in with about a gazillion Copic markers. I confess that I forgot to write down the markers I used for this one, but let me assure you that it's a LOT! LOL
The pretty ribbon trims and teal sparkly embellishments are all from the Flourishes store, and the yellow flower button is from SU. I used my favorite Martha Stewart border punch along the bottom edge, and Spellbinders Classic Circles and Blossom Tags & Accent Dies to mount the image on. The sentiment was stamped on a little home-made banner using Bermuda Bay ink from SU.
I'll be sneaking this one into my daughters lunch box one day soon. She is such a delightful child, and I so DO love being her mom. :-)
Have a fantastic day, friends!
