It's my favorite Friday of the month...Free for all Friday! Today' the Flourishes design team is showcasing their favorite set from the July release. I love all of the sets in this month's release; but the Bike Ride set just calls my name...love it SO much!
The vintage style of the bike called for some vintage papers, which I found in the My Mind's Eye Miss Caroline Dilly Dally 6x6 pad. I really like the red/aqua color combo, and that plaid paper is YUMMY!
I dressed up my card with some pretty teal striped baker's twine, a strip of red braided trim, a red button, and a couple of red Candi's, which I gussied up with some Glossy Accents.
The image was stamped on Classic White card stock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored with the following Copic Marker Collections:
I created the grass by simply flicking several shades of green along the bottom, using light, upward strokes. The clouds were made with my BG01 Copic marker, the Copic Air Compressor, and an old cloud stencil I got from Stampin' Up! many years ago. The sentiment was stamped with Memento Rhubarb Stalk ink. I added polka dots to the gift in the basket with a White Opaque Pen. The final detail is the tiny tag on the package, which I personalized with a Copic Multiliner Pen.
