Well, it's official... The kids are back to school, the calendar says September, and the temperatures are beginning to cool. Fall is in the air. Before we know it, the holidays will be here! (I know...shhhhhh.)
I'm kicking off the fall season with a fun Halloween card made using Flourishes Witching You A Happy Halloween stamp set. Those boots are seriously FUN, aren't they?! The background is made up of black cards stock that has been embossed with the Forest Branches Cuttlebug embossing folder, and a bit of fun striped paper from Echo Park's Apothecary 6x6 paper pack. I stamped black bats from the WItching You A Happy Halloween set onto the patterned paper.
I dressed the card up with some sparkly black velvet ribbon, orange satin ribbon, an Ebony Sparklet, and a few black rhinestones. The gorgeous Spellbinders die is from the Antique Frame and Accents die set. I stamped the image on Classic White card stock, and colored it in with the following Copic Marker Collections:
After the image was colored, I added sparkle with a Sakura Clear Stardust Gelly Roll Gitter pen. Here's a close up of those awesome boots:
That's all for today, friends!
Have yourselves a FANTASTIC day!
