Today I have another card using Flourishes new Perfectly Pierced custom dies. I chose the Classic Frames die set this time. I die-cut the shape with Classic Ivory cardstock, stamping the image from the Fresh Baked set directly onto the die-cut shape. I first air-brushed the background, and then colored the image in with the following Copic Marker Collections:
I used lots of browns, particularly to created the wood-grain pattern in the table. I created the cardstock border out of the Terra Cotta Color Made Easy Collection by using the die-cut as a tracing template, then cutting it out. I then stamped "Happy Thanksgiving" from A Season of Thanks across the top, using VersaMark ink and ivory embossing powder. The patterned papers are from Simple Stories Harvest Lane 6x6 pad. The ribbon is Peach Seam Binding with a matching Tiger Lily Button and a couple of leaf trinket pins. The pretty lace border is Kraft Cotton Dentelle Trim.
Here's a view of the inside of the card:
I stamped the Indian corn image from A Season of Thanks with my Memento Potter's Clay ink pad. The sentiment was stamped using Memento Olive Grove ink.
Many of us, especially here in America, have a BUSY week ahead of us. I pray that in all of our "busy-ness" we remember to be truly thankful. There is SO much to be thankful for, isn't there?!
Have a wonderful day, friends!
