It's Flourishes release week...let the sneak peeks begin!
Today's set is another edition of Becky Fleck's Inside & Out sentiment sets, called Just Because. This one will get lots of use, as it works for so many occasions.
My card base is from the Emerald Coast Color Made Easy Collection...such beautiful colors!
I then pulled out my 8x8 pad of Bird Song deisgner papers from Graphic 45. I love the rich elegance of these papers! My sentiment was stamped on Classic White cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I then die-cut it using Spellbinders Decorative Labels Eight.
Now, I know it's hard to believe that piece used to be white; but I had a little fun with it. :) I began by air-brushing it with my BG75 Copic marker, and then added a bit of splatter by air-brushing with my W9 Copic marker. **Hint: To get more of a splatter when you air-brush, simply use the soft brush nip, instead of the chisel tip. To really give that piece an aged feel, I sponged on some Tim Holtz Old Paper & Tea Dye inks, and a whole lot of Black Soot ink around the edges.
The butterfly was colored with the following Copic Marker Collections:
Here's a view of the inside of the card:
The stamps on the inside, as well as the butterfly on the ouside of the card are from the Butterflies & Blossoms set.
