WooHoo! It's MFT Teaser Time, and I'm so excited to get to be a part of it all! Today, we're giving you a peek at Stitched Stockings and Darling Dots, two fabulous sets designed by the amazing Lisa Johnson.
I began with a Kraft card base and layered it with some pretty Wild Cherry cardstock. I stamped the Darling Dots background onto Kraft cardstock using MFT's new Wild Cherry ink. LOVE that new ink...the color is so vibrant and the converage is INCREDIBLE! Each of the stockings was stamped on Kraft cardstock with WIld Cherry & Jellybean Green ink, and cut out with the new Stockings Trio Die-namics. I stamped the stocking accessories in coordinating colors, and popped them up with dimensionals on the stockings.
I added two red brads to the top corners, and strung a bit of twine between them. I then hung the stockings with some cute mini clothes pins. The patterned paper is from Basic Grey's Aspen Frost 6x6 paper pack. I added Jellybean Green, Wild Cherry, and Lemon Drop buttons, and stamped the sentiment along the bottom using Wild Cherry ink.
To break up the patterns, I added a strip of Jellybean Green Grosgrain Ribbon across the center of the card.

I also made a sweet gift tag using the Traditional Tags STAX & Stockings Trio Die-namics.
I cut the tag out of Kraft cardstock, stamped Darling Dots on the background with a white pigment ink pad, and cut out the stocking with the Stockings Trio Die-namics Die. I added a piece of acetate behind the opening made by the stocking. The sweet polka dot stocking was stamped on X-Press It Blending Card with Wild Cherry ink. I then added a rectangle of foam High-Tack Tape around the back side of the stocking, poured in a bit of clear chunky glass glitter, and backed it with a piece of Wild Cherry cardstock. Once this was all assembled, it formed a fun glitter shaker.
I added a loop of Wild Cherry Grosgrain Ribbon at the top of the tag, and dressed it up with a Dainty Bows Die-namics die, and a Whip Cream Button.
I stamped the "ho ho ho" sentiment along the bottom, and did some faux stitiching with a white opaque pen (that gave me FITS).
