Today I have a peek at a brand new à la mode stamp set from My Favorite Things. This one's called You Shine. My card size is 3-1/4" x 5-1/2".
I stamped the image onto X-Press It Blending Card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored her in with an assortment of pretty Copic markers. I colored her sweater in an ombre pattern, starting at the bottom with my RV69 marker, then shading with some RV66, and topping off the lightest portion with RV63. The lights were colored with soft pastel Copic markers. I then used my Colorless Blender to push the color towards the edge of each bulb, giving them a more translucent appearance. I topped each bulb off with some Glossy Accents.
The patterned papers are from Basic Grey's Lauderdale collection. I added the buttons to cover up a boo boo, because I could not stand the thought of throwing away that image after I'd colored it all in. In the end, I like the button accent with the little flags peeking out from the edge.

I used a left-over strip from the front of my card to decorate the inside, as I often do. That fabulous sentiment is from the Girly Graphic stamp set.
