Now that we've teased and tempted you all week long, it's almost time for you to shop for your favorite Brand Spankin' New products from MFT. But first... it's time for our Die-namics Feature and Pre-Release Pep Rally! Our Design Team has been busy creating jaw-dropping and inspiring projects for you, and we've saved the best for last. We've taken an in-depth look at this month's Die-namics, while re-visiting the amazing sets being released tonight at 10 PM EST RIGHT HERE in the MFT Boutique. I decided to work with the adorable new PI Thanks Snow Much set. I think this cute guy looks like he is about to break out in song, or perhaps he just finished a performance of Frosty the Snowman, and he's proclaiming "TA-DA!". For a snowman, he most certainly has panache, don't you think?
The card base is Sweet Tooth cardstock, with a layer of Grapesicle, and a third layer of patterned paper from Echo Park's Winter Wishes collection.
I used a bunch of Die-namics on this! Check 'em out:
I used the new Mini Double-Dot Border in kind of a fun way at the bottom of the card, stacking them in a zig zag pattern to make a fun border. I just love that new Sentimental Flourish Die-namic! It will give any project that little sumthin-sumthin extra.
I added some sparkle with my Sakura Gelly Roll Glitter Pen, some sparkly ribbon, and a Sweet Tooth Button to finish off the details.
I stamped our sweet snowman onto X-Press It Blending Card with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored him in with the following Copic markers:
*hat - B32/B34/B37/B39
*scarf - V12/V15/V17
*nose - YR00/YR07
*shading on body - C00/C1 (difficult to see in photo)
*sky - BG0000/BG000
Her's a close-up:
It's difficult to tell in the photo; but I gave his scarf some glittery threads with my glitter pen. The snowflakes were stamped with Memento Lulu Lavender and Teal Zeal inks. The sentiment was stamped with Memento Nautical Blue.
