Hi friends! Welcome to the first day of Flourishes' January Sneak Peeks featuring three of the newest sets to hit the shelves here at home base. We know at this time of year you are looking for love when it comes to new stamps and we have a little bit of that! We also have some new sentiments and trendy words to jazz up the fronts of your cards! So, let's get on with the show! First up, a set that packs a visual punch with inspiring and thoughtful words, perfect for cards of all kinds!
Just My Type by Marcella Hawley provides spunky sentiments that take the trend of fun typography and put it into words that you can use on your cards or creations.
For my creation, I went with bold reds and blacks, using elements and papers from Flourishes fabulous new 123 Create Kit, Love Story.
I colored the heart trinket pin and the organza rose in the center of the bow wth my C9 Copic marker. That little rose came from the rose trim in the kit. I just snipped one off and colored it up. :-) The sentiment was stamped on black cardstock with VersaMark ink and embossed with white embossing powder. I then swiped a bit of white pigment ink across the black cardstock to give it a more authentic chalkboard look.
