Hey everyone! Welcome to day one of My Favorite Things' February Release Teasers. Today's sets are SO stinkin' CUTE! They are Lisa Johnson's newest duo, Embellished Eggs and Spring Backgrounds. Then there are the matching DIE-NAMICS...saWEET! The icing on the cake is a trio of beautiful new inks in fresh spring colors. Check out the awesome new products I used today:
Here's a shot of the card by itself:
I began with a 4-1/4" x 8-1/2" piece of Sweet Tooth card stock. I scored the background with my Scor-Buddy, leaving a blank area at the bottom to stamp on. I rounded the bottom corners, stamped the zig zag image from Spring Backgrounds with Sour Apple ink, and the sentiment from Embellished Eggs with Grape Jelly ink. The easter eggs were stamped with Sour Apple, Grape Jelly, and Pink Lemonade inks, and die-cut with the Easter Elements Die-namics. I added a strip of Pink Lemonade Grosgrain at the top of the card to balance the colors.

I stamped the pretty floral border from Spring Backgrounds with Grape Jelly ink, and scored a single line with my Scor-Buddy to separate the border from the main area. I stamped the sentiment & sweet little birdie from Embellished Eggs with Grape Jelly, Apple Green, and Pink Lemonade inks.

I began with Sweet Tooth card stock, as well as the Woven Basket and Trapezoid Treat Basket Die-namics. I stamped the egg from Embellished Eggs in Grape Jelly, Pink Lemonade, and Sour Apple inks, and die-cut it with the Easter Elements Die-namics. I then cut it along one of the zig zag lines to look like an egg that had cracked open. The sweet little bird from Embellished Eggs was stamped with Lemon Drop ink and die-cut with the Easter Elements Die-namics. I added some Grape Jelly Grosgrain Ribbon, Easter grass, and some speckled candy eggs to finish it off. I just have to tell you how much FUN it was to make this sweet little basket! It goes together SO easily...took me under 10 minutes! I used Scor Tape to hold it all together.
