Hello friends! Happy New Year! Are you ready for a fantastic 2013? I sure am! I am also ready to move away from the Christmas cards and on to some fun Valentines!
Today the MFT design team is showcasing the Homespun Hearts and Hearts & Stitches stamp sets, as well as some fun new Die-namics.
I chose to make this first Valentine card with a more traditional feel. The card size is 5-1/4" square. I used patterned papers from Echo Park's Happy Days collection, Sweet Tooth, Black Licorice, and Wild Cherry cardstock.
I stitched loosely around the edges with some black thread, stamped the images with MFT's new Black Licorice and Wild Cherry ink pads. My GOSH, do those ink pads stamp beautifully...smooth as a baby's bottom.

I used a bunch of the little hearts that came from the Die-namics dies I used on the front of the card. The stitching is faux, which was made with the awesome new Hearts and Stitches stamp set.
