Happy Martin Luther King Day! I am spending my day driving back from a hip hop competition in NY with my daughter (they took first place..woot!), and hitting the mall on the way home. Abbi LOVES shopping...me, not so much; but I love spending time with my sweet girl! :)
Today's card is a very simple one I created for a class a while back. I used the super-adorable Pure Innocence Tree Swing set from My Favorite Things. I love, love, love that little guy with his bald head and denim overalls. I colored him with Copic markers, making sure to dirty up his overalls with a bit of E33 Copic color.
The patterned paper is from 7gypsies Nottinghill collection. The ribbon is ivory twill that I colored with a Copic marker. The image was stamped on X-Press It Blending Card with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The texture on the blue card stock layer was achieved with a matching ink pad that I simply swiped down the front of the card multiple times.
That's all I have for you today...sweet and simple! I'll be back tomorrow to share a fun MFT Creative Challenge post.
Enjoy your day! Thanks so much for stopping by!
~Cindy
