MFT New Product Tour

Hello friends!

Have you enjoyed this month's MFT Teasers?  MFT products just keep getting better, don't they?!  It's time for the New Product Tour, where the design team showcases all of the new products.  I've got just a wee bit to share with you today. ;-)

My first card uses the elegant Inspired By Time stamp set.  I paired it with Echo Park's This & That Charming collection.  They were just MEANT to go together.  My card base is Kraft, and I've accented the papers with layers of Hot Fudge card stock.  I stamped the image on X-Press It Blending Card, and colored it with the following Copic markers:  Y21, Y28, Y32, & Y38.  I used the Circles STAX 1 and Circles STAX 2 Die-namics to add the clock face and layers.  I then mounted it on papers die-cut with the Rounded Banner STAX Die-namics.  I added a tab on the side with the new Accent It - Labels and Tabs Die-namics.

On the bottom of the card, I added a strip of Kraft Grosgrain and a sweet row of boys made with the new Paper Doll Boy Border Die-namics.

I couldn't put the Inspired By Time set down just yet.  So, I made another card to share.

For this one I went with soft blues and grays, layered with Hot Fudge card stock.  The patterned papers are from the Six By Six Meadow collection from My Mind's Eye.  I love the coordination of the birds, the clocks, and the "Time Flies" sentiment.  The clocks were stamped onto the patterned paper with Memento Rich Cocoa ink that has been stamped off to soften the color.  I colored the image with Copic markers, fussy cut it out, and mounted it on papers die-cut with the Designer Labels STAX 2 Die-namics.  I also used Fishtail Flags STAX, Fishtail Flags Layers STAX, and the brand-new Leaf-Filled Flourish Die-namics.

I couldn't help but play some more with the adorable Doodle Garden images; so I created a couple of extra cards for you.                                                                                                                                           

This first one uses the super-adorable Doodle Garden I'm Raptor Round Your Finger set.                               

The papers are Kraft, Wild Cherry, and patterned paper from Lilybee Design's Double Dutch collection.  I used several Die-namics on this one, including the Heart Doily, Layered Hearts Border, and Accent It - Labels and Tabs.  I scored a couple of lines along the bottom with my Scor-Buddy.  The ribbon is Wild Cherry Grosgrain, which I dressed up with a Wild Cherry Button, a bit of white button thread, and a couple of pearl stick pins.  The image was stamped on X-Press It Blending Card with Memento Black ink, and colored in with Copic markers.

I gave the little guy's dino costume a bit of texture by dabbing the ink on, rather than blending.  I then fussy cut him out and mounted him up on Dimensionals.

I simply die-cut the Heart Doily Die-namics on a 5"x5" piece of Sweet Tooth card stock, and used the negative inside my card.  I stamped the sentiment with Wild Cherry ink, and added a sweet little heart made from the Layered Hearts Border Die-namics.  A simple strip of Wild Cherry card stock at the top balances it nicely.                                                                                                                                    

One more Doodle Gardens sample...you don't mind, do you?  This one was made with the precious Doodle Garden Sweet Friend set, and pretty papers from Echo Park's Love Story collection.  The card base is Wild Cherry, and the layers are Black Licorice.

I used the Heart Doily Die-namics, as well as the Circle STAX 1 Die-namics behind the girl.  I stamped her on X-Press It Blending Card with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored her in with Copic markers.  I paper-pieced her dress with some darling polka dot paper from the Echo Park Love Story collection.  I am so IN LOVE with this paper pack (no pun intended)!  A few tiny rhinestones, Black Licorice Grosgrain, some sweet Pink Sorbet Twine, and a Razzle Berry Button finish off the details.

She is DARLING, isn't she?!  Those tights remind me of my daughter's younger days, when she had an entire drawer full of pretty patterned tights.  I had such FUN dressing her as a toddler!  Now that she's nearly a teen, she doesn't like it so much when I pick out her clothes. lol  Actually, we DO have fun shopping together. :-)                                                                                                                                            

Here's an inside view of the card:

I added a couple of left-over strips of patterned paper and a sweet heart left over from the Layered Hearts Border Die-namics.  I stamped the girl in Razzle Berry ink, and the sentiment in Black Licorice.
