Hi all, and happy Friday! Today, the Flourishes Design Team is serving up a bit of floral fancy! Each one of the Flourishes designers picked up their favorite from the A Year in Flowers Collection. Have you seen these stamps? If not, you're missing out! Each of the three sets offers a different flower of the month to last the whole year long. Here's a peek...
I chose to work with A Year in Flowers 1 and the January crocus image. I began with a kraft card base, and layered some pretty purple cardstock from the Crocus Color Made Easy Collection. The patterned papers are from the Miss Caroline Fiddlesticks collection from My Mind's Eye. The gorgeous Lavendar Seam Binding is also from the Crocus Color Made Easy Collection.
The sentiment was stamped with Memento LuLu Lavendar ink. I stamped the image on kraft cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored it with the following Copic Marker Collections:
I die-cut the image with the Perfectly Pierced Classic Hourglass die set and layered that onto a die-cut made with the Perfectly Pierced Classic Window die set. A few pearls, some machine stitching, a bit of Ivory Jute, a pretty Emerald Coast Button, and a layer of pom pom trim finish off the details.
Here's a look at the inside:
That lovely sentiment is from the With Gratitude set. The card size is 5-1/4" square.
