My card uses Lisa Johnson's gorgeous new Pretty Poppies set, along with the coordinating Poppies and Leaves Die-namics. I LOVE being able to have perfectly cut-out images without having to even pick up my scissors. :)
The papers I used on my card are Steel Gray, Sno Cone, Sweet Tooth, and beautiful patterned papers from Authentique's Renew collection. The card size is 5-1/4" square. The other Die-namics I used are Blueprints 1 (the little tags), Flower Box, and Jumbo Beautiful Bow. Check 'em out:
I added clear micro-fine beads to the centers of each flower, and colored them in with a C9 Copic marker. I love the bold look of the black against the pale yellow and aqua.
The Jumbo Bow Die-namics was die-cut with pretty polka dot paper, and finished off with a Hemp Cord bow and Banana Split Button center.
Inside my card I added a strip of Sno Cone cardstock die-cut with the Blueprints 1 Die-namics, and centered it with some pretty striped patterned paper. The Pretty Poppies stamps were stamped off to the side in Ranger Scattered Straw and MFT Sno Cone inks. The sentiment was stamped in Black Licorice ink.
My second card uses the darling Doodle Garden Fluttering By stamp set, along with several Die-namics. Don't you just love the new Jumbo Kite Die-namics? It is so FUN! I prettied it up with some patterned papers from Carte Bella's True Friend collection. The card base is Cotton Candy, and the layers are Gumdrop Green and Sno Cone.
I stamped the image on X-Press It Blending Card with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored her in with Copic markers. I paper-pieced her dress with more pretty patterned papers from the Carte Bella True Friend collection. I topped off her antennae with a couple of pink rhinestones. I first drew the grass in with Copic markers, and then added a couple more layers with the new Grassy Edges Die-namics. I love the depth achieved by combining the two techniques. The clouds were made with the Flat-Bottom Clouds Die-namics.
Here's a look at the new Die-namics I used on this card:
Inside my card I stamped the little girl in Sour Apple ink, stamped the sentiment in Razzle Berry ink, and added a strip of patterned paper. That's it...easy peasy!
Thanks for stopping by, friends!
