Hey everyone~
We are kicking off Teaser Time from My Favorite Things with a beautiful new set from Lisa Johnson, called Pretty Poppies. My card base is Tangy Orange, and I stamped on Sweet Tooth. I added a layer of Black Licorice cardstock to make it pop. The script background was stamped with Kraft ink, and the leaves/stems were stamped with the brand-new Gumdrop Green ink. I stamped the poppies with Memento Morocco ink and die-cut them with the new Poppies and Leaves Die-namics. The sentiment was stamped with Black Licorice ink, and die-cut with the Accent It - Labels and Tabs Die-namics. I die-cut the border strips with the awesome new Blueprints 1 Die-namics and Tangy Orange cardstock. I added a couple of strips of black pearls to dress it up a bit.
I jazzed the poppies up a bit with some chunky black glitter centers...super-dressy and easy!
I added another border strip and arrow to the inside of my card. I stamped more poppies on Sweet Tooth cardstock off to the side, and left plenty of space to write a sweet note.
