My card begins with a Smooth White card base, a layer of Steel Grey, Sour Apple, and additiional layers of Smooth White. I used the brand-new Blueprints 4 Die-namics for the layout. Have you tried the Blueprints Die-namics yet? They seriously ROCK, my friends! You really do need them...just sayin'.
I swiped white pigment ink and Black Licorice ink down the front of the Steel Grey card stock to give it a wood grain look. The three multi-colored rectangles were created with Gelatos, a water spritzer, and my finger. :) I love the soft, watercolor effect. I stamped the butterfly from Blissful Butterflies with Sour Apple ink, and die-cut it with the coordinating Blissful Butterflies Die-namics. I stamped the sentiment in Black Licorice, added a bit of Bubblegum Pink Grosgrain, and a few sparkly rhinestones to finish off the details.
Inside my card, I stamped a bunch of the butterflies from Blissful Butterflies in Sour Apple, Sno Cone, and Bubblegum Pink. I added layers of Sour Apple and Sno Cone card stock, and stamped the sentiment in Black Licorice.
That's all, friends! Thanks so much for stopping by! Do swing by the MFT blog for links to all the other designers' projects today. You'll be so glad you did! :)
