It's day one of Teaser Time from My Favorite Things! This month's offerings are better than ever! Today, we're giving you a peak at two new stamp sets and two new Die-namics sets that you are sure to love!
My first card showcases the Pure Innocence Crafty Friends set and Blueprints 5 Die-namics. This is a must-have stamp set for any paper crafter! I began with a Kraft card base, and added a layer of Natural cardstock, which was die-cut with the Blueprints 5 Die-namics. I stamped the Art Expression Text on the background with Kraft ink. The other card stock layers are Sour Apple, Pink Lemonade, Natural, and X-Press It Blending Card. I sponged the edges of all the card stock layers, and added a clear gloss to the three 1/4" circles at the top of the card. I wrapped the front with pink and white twine to balance the card. The layout of my card is one of the digital sketches provided by MFT.
I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored her with Copic markers. I used E000/E51/E53 for the skin, C1/C3/C6/C9 for the hair, R81/R83/R85 for the shirt and hair clip, YG01/YG03 for the card, BG0000 for the sky, W00/W1/W3 for the table, and E31/E33 for the wood block. I drew the squiggle words and flower shape on the card with a 0.5 Black Copic Multiliner.
Inside, I added a layer of Smooth White, a strip of Sour Apple, and a piece of Pink Lemonade die-cut with the Blueprints 5 Die-namics. I stamped the sentiment in Black Licoriced and the image in Pink Lemonade.
My card base is Sweet Tooth, and the layers are Nightshift Blue and Tangy Orange. The banner was stamped with Tangy Orange, Banana Split, and a navy pad that I had a heck of a time getting to stamp cleanly (can't wait until MFT releases the Nightshift Blue ink!). I adore that color combo for summer!
I tripled-wrapped the orange and white twine around the bottom and tied it up with a Banana Split button.
I die-cut a layer of banners with Sweet Tooth card stock, and added a second layer of stamped banners with double-sided foam tape. The sweet little starburst in between each banner was made with the Blueprints 5 Die-namics. I attached a tiny blue and white twine bow at each end of the banner.
Inside, I stamped a couple of the narrow banners in Tangy Orange and Banana Split, and the sentiment and stars in that "other" navy pad. To add balance, I adhered a strip of Nightshift Blue card stock across the bottom.
Thanks for stopping by, friends!
