Welcome to the New Product Tour from My Favorite Things! Today, I'm featuring the darling new Pure Innocence Happy Christmas set, along with the Falling Snowflakes Die-namics and Tree Lines Die-namics.
I have three cards to share with you today!
For my first card, I gave her a super-fun fur coat and hat. She is one stylin' young lady! I began with an Electric Red card base, and added layers of Smooth White, Kraft, Sour Apple, and Hot Fudge. I added a strip of Hot Fudge grosgrain, and die-cut the snowflake background with the Falling Snowflakes Die-namics.
I stamped the image on X-Press It Blending Card with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored her with Copic markers. I gussied up her scarf with some red Flower Soft.
Inside, I added a layer of Smooth White card stock, a couple of die-cut trees, a strip of Sour Apple card stock, and stamped the sentiment in Hot Fudge.
My second card is done in more muted, natural tones. The base is Kraft, and the layers are Jellybean Green and Smooth White. I rounded the top corners, added a few lines of machine-stitching, scored a couple of lines above that, wrapped the bottom with a bit of green/white twine, and tied it up with a Kraft button.
Again, I stamped the image on X-Press It Blending Card with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored her with Copic markers.
My final card is a bit brighter and cheerier than the first two. I began with a Sweet Tooth card base, and added layers of Sour Apple and Sno Cone. I used the More Washi Patterns set and Sweet Tooth pigment ink to create the diagonal striped pattern on the Sour Apple card stock. The sentiment was stamped in Sno Cone ink and die-cut with the Sentiment Strips Die-namics. I added a few enamel dots just for fun. The tag layers were created with the new Pierced Traditional Tags STAX Die-namics. I topped the tag off with a white thread bow, Sno Cone button, and Sour Apple grosgrain.
Not to sound redundant, but I again stamped the image on X-Press It Blending card with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored her in with Copic markers. I added a bit of pizzazz to the image with a Sakura Gellyroll Glitter pen. I used the pen on the tree topper, her scarf, pom poms on her hat, and to add sparkly stripes to her tights.
The inside decore is nothing more than a strip of Sno Cone card stock, and a Sour Apple stamped image.
