Hey everyone!
It's time for the New Product Tour at My Favorite Things! Today, I'm showcasing the newest Pure Innocence set, called Warm Winter.
I decided to go with bright and fun colors for my first card. I began with a Smooth White card base, and added a Razzle Berry layer behind the Chevron Cover Up Die-namics. I wrapped the card front with a strip of Sour Apple grosgrain, added an accent piece of Smooth White card stock die-cut with the Sentiment Strips 2 Die-namics, and added a few enamel dots and a bit of hot pink and white twine to dress it up a bit.
I stamped the little girl on X-Press It Blending Card with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored her in with Copic markers. I gave the sweater a bit of texture by adding the ink in "dots" rather than blending.
Inside, I added a strip of Razzle Berry card stock, stamped the sentiment in Sour Apple, and stamped the image in Cotton Candy.
For my second card, I went with a much softer, more muted look.
The card base is Kraft, and the layers are Smooth White, and Nightshift Blue. I stamped the image on Kraft with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored her with Copic markers. I colored the rim of her hat and the snowball with my Prismacolor Blanc marker and a bit of Gamsol. The soft blue background was air-brushed with a B34 Copic marker. I wrapped a strip of Kraft grosgrain around the card, some metallic striped twine, and added a few navy enamel dots. To finish it off, I rounded the top two corners of the card.
Inside I added a strip of Smooth White, stamped the snowflakes from Sophisticated Snowflakes in Kraft and Sweet Tooth, and stamped the sentiment in Nightshift Blue.
Thanks so much for stopping by today, friends! Hop on over to the MFT Blog for the links to all of the other designers' fabulous creations.
