It's day two of the My Favorite Things Release Rewind! I have a couple of cards to share with you today.
My first card uses the sweet Pure Innocence Happy Heart Snowman set. Isn't that about the cutest snowman you've ever seen?! I just LOVE him!
My card base is Grapesicle, and the layers are Grape Jelly, Sour Apple, and Smooth White. The striped background was made with the new Striped Background stamp, Grape Jelly ink, and Sour Apple ink. The tiny stars were die-cut with the new Peek-a-Boo Stars Die-namics. The little sentiment tab was created with the new Blueprints 9 Die-namics. The circles were die-cut from the Pierced Circles STAX and Circles STAX 1 Die-namics. I wrapped the card with a bit of purple and white twine, and added three enamel dots for interest.
I stamped him on X-Press It Blending Card with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored him with Copic markers.
Inside, I added a layer of Smooth White card stock, a die-cut strip of Sour Apple card stock, stamped the image in Grapesicle ink, and stamped the sentiment in Sour Apple ink.
My second card uses the newest Doodle Garden set, You're the Coolest. I agree...she's the coolest! The background was made with the awesome new Chevron Cover Up Die-namics, Natural card stock, Berrylicious card stock, and Smooth White card stock. I wrapped the card with a bit of Sno Cone grosgrain, and added an assortment of enamel dots to add balance. The sentiment was stamped in Kraft ink and die-cut with the Sentiment Strips 2 Die-namics.
I stamped her on X-Press It Blending Card with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored her with Copic markers. I mounted her on a die-cut tag made with the new Pierced Traditional Tag STAX Die-namics, Traditional Tag STAX Die-namics, Smooth White card stock, and Sno Cone card stock. I die-cut the snowy background on the tag with the Snow Drift Die-namics, and sprayed it with a bit of MIX-ables Sheer Shimmer Mist. Her snowball and hat brim were sparkled up with some MIX-ables Sheer Sparkle Glitter Glaze.
Inside, I added a layer of Smooth White, a couple of strips of die-cut Natural & Berrylicious card stock, stamped the sentiment in Sno Cone, and stamped the snowball image in Memento Tuxedo Black. I gave the snowballs a slight shadow with my BV20 Copic marker.
