Hey everyone! It's here!! The January release from My Favorite Things is now available for purchase! The design team has lots of fun projects to share with you today; so pour yourself a nice big cuppa jo, and have fun hopping!
I have three cards to share with you today myself; so sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride. :)
My first card showcases the darling new Pure Innocence Will You Be Mine set. Isn't she a cutie patootie?
The card base is Grout Gray, and the layers are Berrylicious, Spearmint, and X-Press It Blending Card. It's hard to see in the photo, but I stamped the Patterned Triangles Background in Sweet Tooth on the card base. I stamped the sentiment in Black Licorice. The little accent in the corner starts with a Delicate Doilies base in Spearmint. The Delicate Doilies Die-namics are this month's Free with $60 product...SWEET! I added a Grout Gray tag strip made with the Distressed Hearts Frame Die-namics, and on top of that, a few x's & o's in Berrylicious made with the Lots of Love Die-namics. A strip of Spearmint Grosgrain and a few enamel dots add just the right finishing details.
I stamped the image on X-Press It Blending Card with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored her with Copic markers. I added the blades of grass by flicking the Copic markers in an upward motion.
Inside, I added a layer of Berrylicious cardstock, and a layer of Smooth White cardstock. I stamped the sentiment and image in Spearmint ink, and added the sweet little heart in Blu Raspberry ink.
My second card also showcases the Pure Innocence Will You Be Mine set, but in a totally different way than the first. My card base is Grout Gray, and the layers are Cotton Candy and X-Press It Blending Card. I stamped the Sheet Music Background in Grout Gray on the Grout Gray layer. I just can't get enough of MFT's Cling Rubber Backgrounds! The tiny heart in the middle of the sentiment was created with the sweet little row of hearts in the Blueprints 11 Die-namics. I can hardly stop myself from putting those hearts on my cards lately...so stinkin' CUTE! The heart border along the bottom was created with the Staggered Heart Border Die-namics. I layered the heart on the end with a couple of other hearts and a sweet pink & white twine bow.
I stamped the image on X-Press It Blending card with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored her with Copic markers.
Inside, I added a layer of Smooth White cardstock, a strip of Grout Gray, a few die-cut hearts in Cotton Candy, and stamped the sentiment in Black Licorice.
My final card today showcases another of the newest Pure Innocence sets, Love is in the Air. The card base is Wild Cherry. I stamped Sweet Tooth hearts from the Heart Balloons set all over the background, and added a paper doily to really give it a Valentine feel. The card stock layers are Smooth White, Pink Lemonade, and X-Press It Blending Card. The sentiment banner was made with the awesome new Dimensional Banners Die-namics. I stamped tiny hearts all over the banner with Pink Lemonade ink, and stamped the sentiment with Black Licorice ink. The finishing detail is a bit of red and white twine wrapped around the top of the card.
Once again, I stamped her on X-Press It Blending Card with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored her with Copic markers. I then fussy cut her, and popped her up with foam tape.
Inside, I added a layer of Smooth White, a strip of Pink Lemonade, a die-cut heart in Wild Cherry, and stamped the sentiment in Black Licorice.
