It's time for the monthly Design Team Creative Challenge at My Favorite Things. This month the team was challenged to create perfect packaging for any occasion. Well, like many of the design team members, I have Easter on the brain. So, I created some fun little Easter treat boxes for my kiddos Easter baskets.
For each treat box, I began with the Cone Treat Box Die-namics. I had SUCH fun creating these!
My carrot box was created with Orange Fizz card stock, and Sour Apple for the stems. I air-brushed the Fishnet Stencil pattern on the background with my YR09 Copic marker. The stems were die-cut with the Layered Vine Border Die-namics.
The sheep box was create with Smooth White, Black Licorice, and Bubblegum card stock. I air-brushed the "fluffy" background with the Cloudy Day Stencil (which may or may not be coming out in April...ahem) and my B04 Copic marker. The black swirls were made with the Sunny Day Doodles Borders and Accents set and Black Licorice ink pad. I created the sheep's head with the Circle STAX 1 Die-namics (head), Cloud Trio Die-namics (fur on head), Mini Monarch Border Die-namics (nose..cut off one of the "knobs"),
Blueprints 12 Die-namics (ears), white opaque gel pen (mouth), and googlie eyes.
My third box is a chick. The card stock used is Banana Split and Tangy Orange. The background was air-brused with my Y06 Copic marker and the soon-to-be-released Raindrops Stencil. The beak was die-cut with the Paper Bag Peek-a-Boos Die-namics. The "feathers" were die-cut with the Roughing It Die-namics (flames).
My fourth and final box, is, of course, a bunny. I began with Bubblegum, Smooth White, and Pink Lemonade card stock, and air-brushed the background with my R85 Copic marker and the Funky Florals Stencil. The ears were created with the Upsy-Daisy Die-namics. The nose was created with the Blueprints 11 Die-namics. Googlie eyes and pink/white striped twine whiskers finish off the details.
Thanks so much for stopping by, friends! Be sure to swing by the MFT Blog for links to the rest of the design team's creations!
Have a beautiful day!
