Hey everyone! It's here! It's release day from My Favorite Things, and the design team has lots of fabulous samples to share with you to get your creative juices flowing! So, make yourself comfortable, and enjoy a nice, long visit today. :)
I have several cards to share with you, all using the new Words of Inspiration stamp set. Love that set SO much, and will be using it lots!
My first card begins with a Grout Gray card base (my fave!). I created the beautiful, die-cut background with the gorgeous Floral Fusion Cover-Up Die-namics. The sentiment is from Words of Inspiration, and those stunning lilies are die-cut from the Lily Die-namics, which is this month's Free with $60 product. Isn't it gorgeous? The stems are created with Olive card stock, the flower with Smooth White, and the stamen with Banana Split. I "tied" the flower stems with a bit of yellow and white striped twine. The sentiment was stamped in Olive ink. The layer that the sentiment was stamped on was die-cut from the Blueprints 13 Die-namics.
I love the dimension created by all the die-namics!
Inside, I added a layer of Smooth White, a strip of Olive, and stamped the sentiment in Olive ink. Isn't that a great sentiment?
My second card has a bold and graphic fee. The card base is Blu Raspberry, and the layers are Smooth White and Black Licorice. I created the pretty floral layer with the new Funky Florals Stencil, a sponge dauber, and Sweet Tooth ink. The layers on top were created with the Blueprints 13 Die-namics. I stamped the sentiment from Words of Inspiration in Black Licorice and Blu Raspberry inks. A trio of enamel dots and a rounded corner finish off the details.
I don't know about you, but I sure am glad that nothing is impossible with God! Now, if only I could remember that in EVERY moment...even the tough ones. :)
Inside, I added a layer of Smooth White, a skinny strip of Blu Raspberry, and stamped the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black. I colored "prayers" in with my Turquoise Spica Glitter Pen.
My next card utilizes a fresh, bright color palette. Grout Gray looks good with anything, doesn't it? It is still my favorite card stock color. I created the fancy circle layer with the Floral Fusion Cover-Up Die-namics, Circle STAX 1 Die-namics, Circle STAX 2 Die-namics, Smooth White card stock, and backed it with Wild Cherry card stock. I am so loving how this turned out!
The layout for this card is this week's Mojo Monday sketch. Check it out:
Such a pretty layout, isn't it?
I stamped the sentiment from Words of Inspiration in Wild Cherry and Blu Raspberry, and added a pretty turquoise and white striped twine bow and a smattering of coordinating enamel dots.
Inside, I added a layer of Smooth White, thin strips of Grout Gray and Wild Cherry, and stamped the sentiment in Black Licorice, Blu Raspberry, and Wild Cherry.
