It's time for day two of the My Favorite Things Release Rewind! If you didn't catch day one, they hop on over to the MFT blog for links to yesterday's projects.
My first card is made using the ultra-cool, retro style Happy Camper Die-namics, as well as the Roughing It Die-namics, Roughing It stamp set, and Campy Tree Lines Die-namics. I am loving the fun, camping theme this month!
The card base is Grout Gray, and the layers are Sour Apple, Steel Grey, Tangy Orange, Black Licorice, and Smooth White. The color combo is this week's Color Throwdown challenge. Check it out:
Such a bold and pretty color combo!
Isn't that little barbeque grill fantastic? I die-cut the grill from Steel Grey card stock, and the flames from Tangy Orange card stock. Some serious grillin' going on here!
I die-cut the clouds from Sweet Tooth Felt using the Flat-Bottom Clouds Die-namics.
Inside, I added a strip of Sour Apple card stock, stamped the camper image in Tangy Orange, and stamped the sentiment in Steel Grey and Tangy Orange inks.
My second card is made using the new Easter Bunny stamp set, coordinating Easter Bunny Die-namics, and Tall Grassy Edge Die-namics.
The card base is Grout Gray (shocker, I know!), and the layers are Sour Apple and Smooth White. I stamped the eggs in Orange Fizz, Sour Apple, and Bubblegum.
The sentiment was stamped in Steel Grey and highlighted very lightly with a couple of Copic markers. I wrapped the top of the card with hot pink and white twine, and embossed a couple of lines into the card stock with my Scor Buddy.
I stamped the bunnies in Grout Gray, except for one, which was stamped in Razzle Berry. That little guy marches to the beat of his own drum! ;) I gave him a little eye with a White Opaque Gel Pen.
Inside, I added Smooth White and Sour Apple card stocks, and stamped the carrots in Orange Fizz and Sour Apple inks.
Now, be sure to swing by the MFT blog to check out the rest of the designers' projects today!
Thanks so much for visiting today, friends! Have yourselves a WONDERFUL weekend! I am off to spend the weekend at my church women's retreat...should be refreshing and fun!
