Hey everyone!
Today I have two cards to share with you, both using the awesome new Joy Ride Die-namics from My Favorite Things...so much FUN!
For my first card, I began with a Smooth White card base. The layers are Sour Apple, Red Hot, Black Licorice, Lemon Drop, Steel Blue, and a mirror-finish silver card stock.
I love the idea of "driving off into the sunset"; so I created a sunset background with the Sun Ray Stencil, Copic Airbrush System, and Y38/YR04/YR09 Copic markers. I then masked off the bottom of the card and airbrushed it with my T9 Copic marker to look like pavement, adding white center lines made from the Hit the Road Die-namics.
In addition to the pretty silver mirror-finish card stock, I blinged up the licence plate with a row of tiny green rhinestones.
I added defroster stripes to the back windshield with Black Licorice ink and the Pinstripe Background.
Inside, I stamped the arrows from Right This Way in Red Hot, Lemon Drop, and Sour Apple, and added a strip of Black Licorice die-cut with the Hit the Road Die-namics.
My second card also has a Smooth White base. The layers are Sno Cone, Red Hot, and Black Licorice.
I stamped the balloons from Party Balloons in Red Hot and Blu Raspberry. The pretty blue car was created with the awesome Joy Ride Die-namics. The cloudy sky was created with the Cloud Trio Die-namics, Copic BG53 marker, and Copic Airbrush System.
The beautiful stone drive was created with the Small Brick Wall Stencil, Copic W7 marker, and Copic Airbrush System.
I added people to the car with the School Days Die-namics, and tied the balloon strings as if they were coming out of the inside of the car.
Inside, I stamped the sentiment from Smile in Red Hot, the sentiment from Party Balloons in Sno Cone, and the confetti from Party Balloons in Sno Cone, Blu Raspberry, and Red Hot.
