Today, I am sharing a sweet card made with Power Poppy's beautiful Farmer's Market stamp set. The sketch for my card was actually last week's Mojo Monday sketch, but I just plain ran out of time to get it posted before I left for our family vacation.
My card base is ivory, and the patterned papers are from Simple Stories Summer Fresh collection. I stamped the image on X-Press It Blending Card with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored it with Copic markers. I sponged the edges of the main panel and die-cut flower with Ranger Stormy Sky and Old Paper Distress Inks. A bit of denim ribbon and a trio of enamel dots finish off the details.
Here's a look at the Copic colors I used:
I stamped the "Be yourself!" sentiment in navy ink. I have often been heard telling my children to stay true to who they are, and not be bothered with following the "in" crowd. I colored up the apple crate to reflect this sentiment, coloring all of the apples yellow except for one shiny red apple.
Here's a look at the inside of my card:
The sentiment on the inside of the card is the perfect continuation of the "be yourself" theme. LOVE this quote from Dr. Seuss. He was a smart, smart man. :) Both sentiments for my card are from the Sassy Succulents set.

Today is my sweet daughter's 14th birthday...eep! I can't believe my baby is 14 and entering high school next week. If there was ever a teenager who was not afraid to be herself, it is our Abbi-girl.
I love her fun-loving spirit so very much...beautiful on the inside and out!
I leave you with another quote to ponder from the great Dr. Seuss...
“Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You.”
Have a most beautiful day, friends!
