Today I have something fun to share with you from My Favorite Things? The design team has been challenged to create projects using the Blueprints Die-namics. There is no easier challenge, in my opinion, because Blueprints give you everything you need to create quick, beautiful cards. We were challenged to both assemble a card based on one of the provided Blueprints sketches, as well as design an original card combining elements from the featured Blueprints.
For both of my cards, I chose to focus on Blueprints 1 Die-namics.
My first card is a cheerful, bright card utilizing one of the sketches from Blueprints 1. Check out the awesome sketches HERE.
I decided to also create my card using this week's Color Challenge. LOVE those happy, happy colors! Check it out:
My card base is Smooth White, and the layers are Tropical Teal, Limelight, Lemon Drop, and Persimmon. (Betcha couldn't have guessed that on your own, given the above color graphic. hehe)
I stamped the sentiment from I Love You More in Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink. The only other details I added to the card are a few colorful enamel dots.
Here's a look at the inside:
The Damask Background was stamped in Lavender Fields ink. I love that gorgeous background! The rest of the images and sentiment are from the All My Love stamp set, and were die-cut with the All My Love Die-namics. I stamped them in Grout Gray, Black Licorice, Lavender Fields, and Grapesicle inks.
Inside, I added a layer of Smooth White, a strip of Lavender Fields, and stamped the images in Black Licorice, Lavender Fields, and Grapesicle.
Thanks so much for stopping by, friends!
