Hello creative friends!
I'm back with another fabulous sneak peek from Power Poppy's Happiest Holiday collection. Hot on the heels of our first-ever cloche set “Under Glass”, this new group of Christmas vignettes is bound for popularity on your craft table. Each still life fits perfectly inside the glass dome, or works equally well individually. One grouping has a classic Power Poppy stack (we LOVE to stack cute things!) consisting of wrapped gifts and ornaments; another fun stamp is the "JOY" tree - filled with ornate decoration and detail. Lastly, Santa feeding his reindeer, an image based on a vintage Christmas decal, is ideal for creating a snow dome with a glitter pen! Use the bow to add a handle to the top of the snow globe - or place it atop the tree. Four sentiments complement the vintage vibe of Under Glass: Christmas Traditions.
I went with a happy & bright color palette for my card! Aren't those colors fun?! The patterned papers are from an oldie-but-goodie paper collection from Basic Grey, called Hello Luscious. I really adore that color combination for Christmas...yes, please!
I added the white ornaments to the Christmas tree with my very favorite opaque white pen of all time... my White Pearl Kirarina WINK Pen. I've said it before, and I'll say it again... You'll never find another opaque white pen that runs as smoothly & reliably as this one, with the amazing coverage that this pen gives! It's also acid free, and has just a touch of sparkle to it. Oh...and it comes in EIGHTEEN colors, including metallics!
Check out these other examples using these amazing pens!

Or how about this fabulous example from Kristina Werner on black cardstock...
So many fantastic possibilities!
Now, back to my original card up there...
I stamped my image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press It Blending Card, and colored it with the following Copic Markers.
See what I mean? That color combination looks pretty yummy in my Copic Markers too!
Here's a look at the inside of my card:
I added a strip of patterned paper, stamped the sweet sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black, and highlighted it with Copic Markers.
