Pinch me...I'm dreamin'!

Hello Stampers!

How are you all on this fine Monday?  I am doing terrific!  You see, today is a very exciting day for me!  It is my first official day as a member of the fabulous Stampers Dream Team.  I had the privilege of spending a little time with Michelle Rodgers, the owner of Stampers Dream, while I was at CHA, and let me tell you...she is a HOOT!  I could tell almost from the moment I met her that we were going to hit it off beautifully; and I already know, love and admire the girls on her design team.  Add that to the fact that she carries some seriously yummy goodies in the store, and I'd call that a WIN-WIN for sure!  So, in case you haven't figured it out by now....I am EXCIIITED!!!

For my debut sample, I chose this gorgeous Spring Chickadees image from Northwoods Stamps.  I dressed it up with some pretty black Mini Rhinestones from Zva.  The card dimensions are 5-1/4" square.  Here's the full recipe:

Happy Friday, Stampers!

Short and sweet today...serious jet lag is taking place since getting in at 1 am.

I made this sample using a gorgeous image from Northwoods Stamps.  It's such a large, detailed image that I don't need to do much else with my card.  So, while there's a lot of coloring, there is very little else.  I did make some soft clouds in the background using an old cloud stencil and a sponge dauber.  I love the effect!

Ink: Black Staz-On, Soft Sky, Bordering Blue, Real Red, Riding Hood Red, Certainly Celery, Always Artichoke, Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip, Really Rust, Pumpkin Pie, Tangerine Tango

Accessories: Real Red Brads, H2O Water Brush, White Gel Pen, Wide Red Satin Ribbon (dollar spot in Michael's), Cloud Stencil, Sponge
