Power Poppy is celebrating ONE YEAR today! Can you believe it?! Actually, I feel like Power Poppy has always been there...much like a dear old friend. :)
With each and every gorgeous new stamp that Marcy illustrates, I am left in awe of her incredible eye for detail, and distinct ability to capture the essence of what makes something beautiful. She does it every. single. time. That is a skill that simply cannot be taught, my friends. When you got it, you got it. Our dear Ms. Marcy Poppins (as I so fondly like to call her) has GOT it.
Not only is she supremely talented, she is a warm-hearted, spunky, and deLIGHTful individual! I just adore the way she lets us get inside her thought process when she's illustrating a new image. Her stories are heart-warming and inspiring, just like her! Although we have never actually met in person (what??!), I feel like Marcy is a dear sister from another Mr. hee hee You just can't help but love that sweet, sweet gal! So, it is with great pleasure that I wish Power Poppy, and the one-and-only Marcy Poppins a very HAPPY 1st birthday! Here's to many, many more, my friend!
On to my creation...
I used the stunning Azalea stamp set, stamping the large azaleas image several times around the edge of the card stock. The card stock I stamped on is X-Press It Blending Card, and the ink is Memento Tuxedo Black.
That sentiment, which is from the Orchids Rock set, just seemed so perfect for today's theme. Marcy is exactly that...little, but FIERCE!
I colored flowers with the following Copic markers:
Here's a look at the inside of the card:
I used the left-over edge from the front colored panel to frame out the white card stock inside. I stamped the flower vase image in a pale blue, and the sentiment in red.
