Have you enjoyed the peeks at this month's Power Poppy release? Isn't it great that you can get all of those fabulous sets instantly in the form of digital stamps?! I do love me some instant satisfaction! ;)
Today, the Bloom Brigade is showcasing a favorite set from this month's release. I am in love with all three sets, but the Arranging Roses set has a special sweetness to it that really speaks to me; so that's what I chose to work with today.
Lots of white and gingham on my card today...love that fresh, country feel!
I began with a textured white card base, and added pretty papers from Little Yellow Bicycle's Vintage Summer collection.
I printed the image in black ink on X-Press It Blending Card, and colored it with the following Copic markers:
I die-cut the image with a Spellbinders rectangle die, and die-cut the sentiment with a Spellbinders circle die. I shrank the sentiment down to 15% of it's original size to make it work as an accent on the front of my card.
I air-brushed the background of the circle with my B0000 Copic marker. A sweet pink gingham ribbon, coordinating flower button, and a trio of pale blue enamel dots finish off the details.
Here's a look at the inside:
I printed the image in a soft blue ink this time, so that I could write a message right over the top of it. One of my absolute favorite things about digital images is the ability to change their size and color. It really opens up a whole new world for you! A layer of soft pink card stock and a couple of strips of patterned paper give the inside a beautifully finished off look.
Check out what the rest of the Bloom Brigade created for you today:
