It's time for another Power Poppy Friday, and this week I'm sharing a project created with an absolutely beautiful new digital stamp set called Rose & Chamomile. Did you know that June is National Rose Month in the US? So, it is only fitting that Marcy would draw up this beauty for us to color. It comes with the image you see above, as well as an individual rose, and the sweet "You are in my prayers" sentiment. I will most certainly be using that one a lot!
I went with a more vintage feel for my card, with some crisp pops of white to freshen it up a bit. The patterned papers are from Teresa Collins Fabrications collection. I printed the image in a very pale green ink, and colored it with the following Copic Markers.
I should also mention that the paper I printed the image on is X-Press It Blending Card.
Here's a close-up look at the colored image:
It really gives it a very vintage look when you print it in such a pale ink color, doesn't it? It takes a little longer to color; but, in my opinion, it's always worth it.
Be sure to swing by the rest of the Bloom Brigade blogs to see their fabulous creations today:
