Today, I have a Power Poppy card to share with you, made with the oh-so-sweet Lavender set. I SO enjoy coloring this image...especially that bucket. I chose to make it a rusty bucket by layering lots of different Copic shades.
Here are the Copic colors I used:
Underneath the obvious layers of YR14 and E47, there are greens and grays, such as BG93 and W6. Having those underlayers really gives the bucket more of an authentic rusty look. Don't be afraid to layer weird colors together. Experimenting is half the fun! :)
Here's a look at the inside of the card:
I kept it sweet and simple, but dressed enough to make it special.
Thanks for stopping by, friends! I am in Anaheim, CA for the Winter Craft & Hobby Association Show, which is sure to be a wonderful event, and a great chance to catch up with old friends and meet new ones too. ...and then there's the weather. It may be a "wee" bit better than the frigid temps back home in New Hampshire right now. Is it spring yet???
