The Stockings Were Hung...

Happy Christmas Eve Day!!!

Oh my gosh, tomorrow's Christmas!  The kiddos are just giddy with excitement...and so am I!  I still have some last-minute wrapping to do tonight...guess I can't wait any longer, huh?!  It's funny, cuz I always remember my parents wrapping gifts on Christmas Eve....or when we were older PAYING my sister and I to wrap each other's gifts...too funny!  I swore that I would be more {ahem} "with it" and have it all done early...but it does seem that most years I'm still finishing up at the very last minute.  Anyone else out there like that???

Today, I'm meeting a dear friend for coffee and to give her the present I got for her...which I just can't wait to give her! :)  Then, it's back home to finish the holiday baking, and package up the neighbor gifts to be distributed this afternoon.  My house is full of yummy, FATTENING goodies!  I need to get them out of here....I'm gaining weight just looking at them!

I have received so many beautiful cards in the mail lately.  I thought I'd share just a small sampling of them here.

This first card was sent to me by my friend, Denise Marzec.  Denise is one of my favorite stampers on the planet.  She does beautiful work, as I'm sure most of you already know! 

Isn't that penguin sweet?  ...and that ribbon treatment is awesome!  Thanks, Denise!

This next gorgeous card was made for me by Korin Sutherland, who owns Sweet & Sassy Stamps.   I just love the way she sanded the embossed snowflake background...sooo cool!  Thanks so much, Korin!

The last card I have for you today is a soft and pretty one made by the fabulous Julie Koerber.  That poinsettia image from Flourishes is high on my list of all-time favorites, and I love the way Julie did it in gold and pink....stunning!!!  Thank you, sweet Julie! :)

I have many more I could share with you; but I don't want to make my post too long today.  Just know that I appreciate them all SO MUCH...there's nothing quite like receiving a hand-stamped card in the mail!  Thanks everyone!

Rak 'em, Stack 'em, and Brak 'em!

Oh boy, it's been a very happy mail week!!!  Today I have a bunch of fabulous RAK's and BRAK's to share with you!  Check 'em out:

This first one holds a special place in my heart.  Not only 'cuz it's STINKIN' CUTE...but also because it's from my downline.  My wonderful hubby & I received this card along with a lovely gift certificate to a fantastic local restaurant as a thank you from all of them for the summer bbq we held for them a couple of weeks ago.  They are such amazing, thoughtful, wonderful, wonderful women!  I am sooo blessed!!!  (I know I say that a lot...but it's the God's-honest TRUTH!)

Whenever I look at this card, I will think of all of their sweet smilin' faces.   Jim & I both thank you so much, ladies!  You ALL ROCK!

This next card is from another amazing downline member, Nancy Ritchie.  She is such a sweetheart, and an absolutely amazing stamper too!  Isn't this card just GORGEOUS!?  Thank you so much, Nancy!

Check this one out!!!  Nancy made this one for my hubby!  Oh my gosh, I just love this in black, gray and white...STUNNING!  Jim says, THANK YOU SO MUCH, Nancy!!!  He LOVES it!

This amazing creation came from a wonderful customer and friend, Connie Bowblis.  Isn't it PHENOMENAL?!  Unfortunately, a couple of the sweet wooden beads didn't survive the mail; but I think it looks fabulous without them!  Connie is one of those customers that takes the left-over scraps from a class, and creates the most amazing cards with them!  She is truly a talented, talented lady!  Thank you so much, Connie!
