I made this card for last week's sketch challenge over on SplitCoast. I really like this sketch...so many fun layers. I think I may have hit a new record for number of layers on this card...there are 11 if you count the flowers as a layer. Guess I won't try to mail this with a regular postage stamp...maybe a BOX would be better...haha! Ah, nevermind...I probably won't mail it at all...think I'll hoard it for a while! :)
There are a lot of elements to this...
I used my favorite flower from Wonderful You...colored with Regal Rose, Real Red and So Saffron. The background flowers are from Boho Backgrounds. I used my Swirls CuttleBug folder, and sponged on some Regal Rose ink...actually I did a lot of sponging on this card...all the rose edges are sponged too. I stamped the Floral background on black using White Craft ink. I added gingham ribbon, black brads, clear rhinestones, stickles in the flower centers, piercing, and word window punches....phew! Hmm....maybe I should give myself a new challenge...to use every single embellishment I own on ONE card... Heck, I almost did it here! :)))
I hope you've enjoyed today's sample! Have a super-duper oh-so-lovely Tuesday! Ann & I are hosting a fun Demonstrator Class here in my home today...one at 10am and one at 6pm. I do so love having those wonderful ladies over to stamp. I'll share the samples from the class with you later on this week...stay tuned... Love, ~C
