I hope all you mommies out there had a lovely Mother's Day yesterday. :) I most certainly did...breakfast in bed, church, dinner out at Olive Garden, text messages and phone calls from both of my older boys, chocolates, gifts, hand-made cards, and an afternoon of leisure. It was a perfect day! To top the day off, when my son, Ben, arrived home last night from his week-long senior trip, he handed me a beautiful card & new woman's devotional that he purchased for me while he was away. As if that weren't enough to make me cry, I then found out that he went without lunch & dinner on the way home because he spent his $ on me. Yup, I cried like a baby all over again. :)
Today's project is another one of our m&t's from Spring Fling. This one's a mini magazine tote filled with 3x3 cards & envies. Once you get the scoring and cutting down, it's an easy project. I found the instructions here. You can adjust the measurements, and make one for full-sized cards as well.
Here's a shot of the cards inside:
It's hard to tell in the photo; but I used Textured Black cardstock and pierced in one straight line on all of the cards. These are soooo fast and easy to make!
Here's the recipe for the project:
Stamps: Matchbox Messages
Papers: Whisper White, Basic Black, Real Red, Old Olive, Basic Black Textured Card Stock, Rockabilly Designer Papers, White Mini Envies
Inks: Basic Black, Real Red, Old Olive
Accessories: Simple Flower Embosslits
Die, Punches
- 5-Petal Flower, ¼” Circle, ½” Circle, ¾” Circle, 1-1/4” Circle, Paper Cutter w/Scoring Blade, White Jumbo Grommet, White Organza Ribbon, Piercing Tools, Dimentionals
Have a wonderful Monday, everyone! Thanks so much for stopping by!
See you all tomorrow!
Hugs~
