Today is a very special day at Flourishes. Our fabulous design team coordinator, Julie Koerber, is celebrating a birthday! It's a big one too; but I won't say which big one. ;) Happy, happy birthday, sweet Julie! Thanks so much for all you do for Flourishes & for the design team! You ROCK!
For my card, I used the brand-new Warm Winter Wishes set...cute, cute, cah-UTE! Julie challenged us to use this fun sketch on our samples today. I used some of my new favorite patterned paper pack, Basic Grey's Jovial...lovin' the rich plaids and florals! Yummmmmy!
I stamped just the head of the snowman onto a small circle of Classic Ivory cardstock. I colored him in with Copic markers. Here's a close-up:
I added some rich velvet ribbon and Cranberry Nailheads to finish the card off.
The Copic markers I used are as follows:
Okay, friends, that's it for me today! Check out what the rest of the design team has to share:
Have a fantastic Friday, everyone! :)
Hugs,
~Cindy
What did you use to make the green fancy edge circle behind the snowman? This card is great, so different. Thank you.

Happy Birthday to you!! (I'm guessing it's the big 3-0 based on your photo in your side bar teeheehee) Wonderful card!! Love the lacey circle; the red pearls; and the cutest little snowman!

Had I been paying attention, I would have noticed it's Julie's birthday and not yours! Hope your day is happy too though. ;-)

Hi Cindy~
What a wonderful card. I love the dp on the base of the card. I really am intrigued about the green scallop! (is it ribbon?) I love the plush velvet ribbon! Gorgeous!

Your very cool and cute snowguy could melt on such a warm and toasty card, Cindy. Better watch out. Love how you worked him into this sketch! Got to get those Lacy Circles out of the package and give them a spin. Adorable card!
