Happy Monday to you! I hope you had a terrific weekend. Mine was crazy-busy, but lots of fun. We went to see Stomp on Sunday afternoon (check them out HERE), and it was fanFLIPPINtastic! If you get a chance to see it, I would highly recommend it! Our kids absolutely loved it as well. :)
Flourishes is releasing another fabulous 1 2 3 Create kit today, and it is chock full of gorgeousness! This kit is so right up my alley...lots of yummy, vintage goodness! It comes with everything you see pictured above.
Here's my sample:
I chose to focus on the blues in the papers, and keep the whole thing soft. I used my Grand Calibur Die-Cut Machine to cut out the shapes. In addition to the Spellbinders Petite Oval Die, I used my new Spellbinders Labels Twenty Die for the background shape layer. Isn't that such an elegant shape? I am lovin' it!
I stamped the image from Cherry Blossoms in London Fog Memento ink, and colored it with Copic markers (R01, YG63, & YG66). I then sponged on some Tim Holtz Antique Linen Distress Ink. I finished things off with a pretty blue Sparkler and latte pearl swirls, which both come in the kit. The paper, which also comes in the kit, is the Botanical collection from Prima. My card size is 5-1/4" square.
Here's a close up of the image:
Next up, you'll want to check out the awesome samples made by Julie Koerber and Christine Okken. They are sure to knock your socks off!
Stop by and pick up your own 1 2 3 Create Kit right HERE before they are all gone!
Guess what? Flourishes release week begins on Wednesday this week...so stay tuned!
Have a wonderful day, my friends!
Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs,
~Cindy
