Was I right??? You totally FLIPPED, didn't you?!
With a new FLIP year (Flourishes Loyalty Incentive Program), Flourishes knows our customers will actually “flip” when they see the newest offering from Marcella Hawley. This beautiful set, called With Gratitude, is Flourishes’ gift to you when you make a qualifying FLIP order. Want to see what it takes to become a FLIP member, get your hands on this set and a year full of member’s only sales? Just click HERE.
Here's a card I made with this set:
It's 5-1/4" square and uses this month's Sketch For You To Try. I used lots of Spellbinders dies for this one...Labels Eighteen, Petite Ovals, Fancy Tags Two, and Victorian Border Pierceabilities. The pretty patterned paper is from Prima's Fairy Flora collection, and that luscious ribbon is May Arts Fuchsia Iridescent Ribbon. I think that ribbon may just be my very favorite ribbon at the moment. It is SERIOUSLY beautiful, my friends!
I colored the Sparkler on the bow using Copic markers. (It used to be blue...uh huh, it's true!) The image itself is colored using Copic markers from the following collections:
FYI, this set WILL NOT be for sale in the next year – it’s exclusive to FLIP members only. So, if I were you, I'd be making sure I got one! :)

Before I run off for the day, I thought I'd share a few vacation pics with you all. Here is just a small sampling of our adventures in the Lakes region of NH...
a glitter tattoo...
...beautiful hydrangeas in front of our resort...
...relaxing at Lake Winnipesaukeeeeeeee...DOCTOR.LEO.MAAAARVINNNN. - You think he's gone?! He's not gone! He's NEVER gone! - I feel good, I feel great, I feel wonderful... (Yes, we watched What About Bob...twice! LOL)
...ice cream and fried dough on the boardwalk...
We did SO many other things; but I won't bore you with too many more photos. Here are a few shots of our favorite adventure of the week:
Looks fun, huh?! It's the Aerial Treetop Adventure Course at Gunstock Mountain; and it is really quite a feat if you make it all the way through all five levels! Abbi made it through four, and wisely decided that she should probably sit out the black level (although she really wanted to go all the way). I can honestly tell you...she could not have done it! We saw more than one rescue that day, which prompted us to ask how many they usually have. The guides we spoke with said they can have anywhere from 2 to 20 rescues in any given day. I am so very happy to report that no one in our family added to those numbers! However, I may have come a weeee bit close. LOL
Wait for it....
Wait for it...
Hahaha... It cracks me up everytime I see it! Just call me "Grace". ;) Truthfully, I didn't fall; but rather just let go of the wire and "rested" for a moment. I had put my foot in the wrong ring and wasn't sure how on earth I was going to get out of my predicament...Plus I was seriously TIRED by this point! We had been on the course for more than 3 hours, and this last level was certainly not for the faint of heart. The guide very nicely told me she had never ever seen anyone do that before...haha. Leave it to me! The good news is that I mustered up enough strength to pull myself up, turn myself around, and continue on to the crazy 80-foot swinging ladder (say what?!).
I do hope you all have a fabulous Monday! Abbi & I are going to see Train in concert tonight, and we are both crazy-excited about it! What a summer this has been! :)
Thanks for visiting, my friends!
Hugs,
~Cindy

Holy crud girl... I should say you are definitely seizing the summer. I was laughing so hard at your comment about "the guide said she'd never seen anyone....." I am sure it probably wasn't all that funny at the time but we can laugh about it now.. right? What fun pics and a gorgeous card is like a cherry on top! ;-) Have fun at the concert tonight!

Bwahahahahahahahaha! Okay, sorry... no really. But, honestly, Cindy, you had me cracking up HUGELY at work here. A coworker had to come over to see. LOVE that last photo. You know I love the outdoors but I've never been on a zip line. Would love to someday. I'd be almost as graceful as you in this photo. Looks like a GREAT time! Totally gorgeous card, too. The colors -- WOW!
