Hello Stampers~
It's time for Flourishes November release! This month there are four gorgeous sets being released; so we're starting a day early with the peeks. :-)
Today's set is called Holiday Sparkle, and is sure to be a go-to set for easy, elegant holiday cards and projects.
Here's the card I made with this awesome set:
I began by cutting out my card base using Spellbinders Curved Rectangles Nestabilities Dies. I then stamped the snowflake image from the Holiday Sparkle set all over the background. The pretty patterned paper is from the North Country pack by Prima. The image and sentiment are stamped on Classic Ivory card stock. The image is colored in with the following Copic marker collections:
I added lots of sparkle to the santa ornament with a Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll Pen. I rounded the corners of the tag, and added a Sea Breeze Sparklet to finish it off. The ribbons are May Arts Turquoise Striped Twill, 1/8" Red Velvet (..so in LOVE with this stuff!), and Red Sheer Line Edge Ribbon. Aren't they just delicious!? I {heart} ribbon!
Today's list of designers is a big one, since this is the Friends of Flourishes usual day to post, and the Senior Design Team is just tagging along to play in the Timeless Tuesday challenge. This week's challenge is to create an ornament or use one on your card or creation. Remember to use the keyword FTTC139 when uploading your project to an online gallery. The winner of this challenge will get the ENTIRE October release! Oh yeah, that's definitely worth playing for! Stop by the Flourishes Blog for all the details.
Happy hopping!

I just noticed as I was posting this...that this is my blog post number 1000!!! Holy wow! I can't believe I've written 1000 blog posts! I think I need to do a blog candy give-away in honor of that! I'll tell you what... My family & I are going on vacation beginning this Saturday; so I will post some candy while I'm away, and draw the winner when I return. How does that sound?
One thousand posts...I can't believe I don't have carpal tunnel syndrome yet! lol
Have a fabulous day, my friends!
Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs,
~Cindy

I see you found that mojo! Where'd you dig it out from? Mine hides from time to time (a lot) -- was it under the paper cutter?? HA!! Sorry, just couldn't help myself. Your card is beautiful with all that sparkle and the colors are divine! You know you rock!!! :-)

Hi Cindy~
What a great card! You gave this Santa so much dimension. I remember chocolate Santa's that were about 2" big when I was a child...looked so much like this one! I think it was the foil that looked so sparkly to me! Beautiful layout, and that velvet is incredible...a little bit goes a long way!
Congratulations on your 1000th post! I can hardly imagine! You are an amazing artist and I know the others, as well as myself appreciate your taking your time to share photos, and cards, and vacation stories!
He IS Able!
