Hello Stampers~
Welcome to day two of Flourishes sneak peeks! You are gonna love today's set! It's called Meet Me Under the Mistletoe, and was illustrated by the one-and-only, oh-so-fabulous Marcella Hawley.
My card is just 4-1/4" square, with a Classic White card stock base. The pretty patterned piece is actually Classic White also. I embossed the Damask background stamp with clear embossing powder, and then sponged on some Tim Holtz Shabby Shutters Distress Ink. It makes a pretty background, doesn't it? I seldom think to emboss anymore, and I forget how much I love it!
I colored the kissing ball with the following Copic marker collections:
Rather than color in the berries, or worry about NOT coloring them, I chose to put tiny white pearls in their place...easy peasy! I stamped the sentiment with Memento's Ladybug pad, and added a couple of red rhinestones for some sparkle. The pretty red velvet ribbon across the top of the card is brand-new to the store, and high on my list of favorite new items!
That's all from me today, friends! Check out what the rest of the design team created with this awesome stamp set:

You've created such depth with your amazing shading of the mistletoe. The pearls make perfect "berries".

Cindy,
This is beautiful...and it looks as if it pops right off of the card! There is so much depth in this...and the bg paper...OH! I love it...I have always liked the Damask design...so elegant. And, the color and the pearls add so much richness to the card! So beautiful...and I love it without the berries and with the pearls...a special unexpected touch!
This goes in my Cindy's Top 10 Cards (in my opinion.)
He IS Able!
