It's been such an awesome release week with My Favorite Things, hasn't it?! I hope you've loved the new products as much as I do!
I just had to share a couple more projects using the gorgeous Pretty Poppies stamp set. This time I made a sweet little card and matching gift tote.
My card is 4-1/4" square with a Kraft cardstock base. I added a layer of the gorgeous new Electric Red, and stamped on a layer of Kraft using Electric Red, Gumdrop Green, and Black Licorice inks. I scored a couple of lines down the side of the card using my Scor Buddy, and added 3 black rhinestones to dress it up. A Black Licorice Button at the end of the sentiment gives the card balance. I centered each poppy using an Ice White Viva Decor Pearl Pen.
Inside my card, I stamped the poppies in Kraft ink and the sentiment in Black Licorice ink. A simple strip of Electric Red cardstock finishes it off nicely.
The gift tote was made using the new Flower Box Die-namics, paired with the Trapezoid Treat Box Die-namics. To dress up the tote, I attached a beautiful poppy made with the new Poppy Builder Die-namics.
The poppy was made with Electric Red, Gumdrop Green, and Black Licorice cardstock. I again used my Viva Decor Pearl Pen to add the white dots to the center. Isn't that a GORGEOUS flower?!
My next card uses the beautiful new Inspired By the Front Porch - Spring stamp set.
I began with a Hot Fudge cardstock base, layered some Kraft cardstock, and pretty patterned papers from My Mind's Eye's Unforgettable collection. The image was stamped on X-Press It Blending Card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored in with Copic Markers.
I die-cut the image with the Ovals STAX 1 Die-namics, and die-cut the background with the Designer Labels 2 STAX. The script background on the die-cut was made with the Pretty Poppies stamp set and Kraft ink.
Inside my card I stamped the floral branch in Gumdrop Green ink, and the sentiment in Ranger Walnut Stain ink.
My final card uses the adorable Pure Innocence Feeling Sassy stamp set.
My card size is 4-1/4" square, with a Kraft cardstock base. I layered it with patterned papers from My Mind's Eye's Unforgettable collection. A bit of machine-stitching, some pretty twine, a Banana Split Button, and a sweet tag finish off the details.
The tag was made with the new Blueprints 1 Die-namics. I stamped the sentiment in Electric Red ink.
The little girl was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on X-Press It Blending Card, and colored in with Copic Markers. I paper-pieced her outfit with more patterned papers. Isn't she a cutie pie?
The inside of my card was dressed up with patterned paper strips, a sentiment stamped in Electric Red, and the image stamped in Kraft.
That's all, folks!
Now you can get to shopping! Woot! :)
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
